Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha at approximately 7:00 AM. We drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds, magnificent baobab trees, seasonal wetlands, and diverse wildlife. Upon arrival, enjoy a full-day game drive through the park. A packed lunch will be served at one of the designated picnic sites, allowing you to maximize your time exploring the park. In the late afternoon, we depart Tarangire and continue to Karatu, where you will check in at your lodge and enjoy a relaxing evening.

Day 2: Karatu – Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, we depart Karatu and drive through the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward Serengeti National Park. Enjoy beautiful scenery and wildlife viewing along the way as we travel toward the vast Serengeti plains. Upon entering the Serengeti, we begin an afternoon game drive while making our way toward your camp or lodge. A packed lunch will be provided during the journey. The Serengeti is famous for its extraordinary wildlife and the annual Great Wildebeest Migration, depending on the season and location of the herds.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Today is dedicated to a full-day exploration of the magnificent Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti’s vast plains provide an excellent habitat for a remarkable variety of wildlife. During your game drive, you may encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and numerous bird species. Depending on the season, you may also have the opportunity to witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration. A packed lunch will be served at a designated picnic area in the park, allowing you to spend more time enjoying the wildlife and scenery before returning to your accommodation in the evening.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Continue your journey through the changing landscapes of northern Tanzania, with opportunities for wildlife viewing along the way. A packed lunch will be served en route. In the late afternoon, arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater rim, where you will check in at your lodge or camp. Enjoy breathtaking views over the crater before dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 metres into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. The crater is renowned for its high concentration of wildlife and offers excellent opportunities to see a wide range of species, including the endangered black rhinoceros, lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and numerous bird species. Enjoy a packed lunch on the crater floor while surrounded by the remarkable scenery of this natural wonder. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and begin the journey back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport, depending on your onward travel arrangements.
