Itinerary in Detail

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. Drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, seasonal wetlands, and diverse wildlife. Upon arrival, begin your game drive through the park. You may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes, and numerous bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated picnic area before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, depart Tarangire and continue toward Karatu, where you will spend the night at a selected campsite.

Day 2: Karatu – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart Karatu and drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward the legendary Serengeti National Park.Enjoy spectacular scenery as you travel toward the Serengeti plains. Upon entering the park, begin your game drive while making your way toward the campsite. The Serengeti is famous for its extraordinary wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and many other species. Depending on the season and location of the herds, you may also have the opportunity to witness part of the Great Wildebeest Migration. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the journey before continuing with your wildlife exploration. In the evening, arrive at your campsite, enjoy dinner, and relax under the African night sky.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before beginning a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. The early morning offers excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing as many animals are active during the cooler hours. Continue exploring the Serengeti before departing toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. A picnic lunch will be served during the day’s activities. In the afternoon, continue toward the Ngorongoro Crater rim, where you will enjoy spectacular views over the crater. Check in at your campsite and relax while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
